1.Who We Are

My Role Radar is a job search prioritisation tool designed to help senior professionals find and win the roles that are most worth their time.

Data Controller: Andino Börst, operating as an individual prior to formal company incorporation. Once a legal entity is established, this section must be updated to reflect the registered company name, registration number, and registered address.

2.What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data My Role Radar collects from you, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

It applies to all users of the My Role Radar web application, including users on the Free tier, Pro tier, and Career Sprint plan, regardless of where you are located in the world. Where you are located outside the EU/EEA, by using My Role Radar you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with this policy and transferred to and stored in systems operated from within the EU.

This policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which My Role Radar applies as its global baseline standard regardless of where you are located. My Role Radar is operated from Barcelona, Spain. If you are located outside the European Union, the GDPR standard still applies to how we handle your data.

We use privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use Google Analytics. Usage data is anonymised and aggregated — it cannot be used to identify you individually. Analytics tool: Vercel.

4.Third-Party Services

My Role Radar uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate. Each is required to have a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement in place.

All third-party providers are required to process your data only as instructed by My Role Radar and in compliance with GDPR. We do not sell your data to any third party for any purpose, including advertising.

5.How Long We Keep Your Data

When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently purged within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained beyond this period.

6.Your Rights

My Role Radar applies GDPR-standard data rights to all users globally, regardless of where you are located. In addition, if you are located in a specific jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under local law as set out below.

We will respond to all requests within 30 days in line with GDPR requirements.

If you are unsatisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. EU/EEA users may contact their local national authority or the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) at www.aepd.es. UK users may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. Users in other jurisdictions should contact their relevant local data protection authority.

7.Data Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously. My Role Radar implements the following technical and organisational measures:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS / TLS 1.3
  • All data is encrypted at rest in our database
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only
  • Session tokens expire automatically after 30 days of inactivity
  • Error monitoring is in place to detect and respond to technical incidents promptly

No system is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact us immediately at the privacy email address above.

8.Cookies

My Role Radar uses cookies to operate the service. We use two categories of cookies:

You can withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of the application. Withdrawing analytics consent does not affect your ability to use My Role Radar.

9.Children's Privacy

My Role Radar is designed for senior working professionals and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the product evolves or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a notice in the application. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.

Your continued use of My Role Radar after a change to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
